Sandy Zweifach

Sandy supports the SymBiosis team through leadership development and provides hands-on management and operational counsel across the portfolio—from early due diligence through post-investment value creation. His 30-plus-year career building, scaling, and transacting companies informs every dimension of his advisory work. Drawing on direct experience as CEO or President of five companies, Sandy has helped raise more than $750 million in capital and has a track record spanning numerous M&A and licensing transactions. His relationships across pharma—with senior R&D and business development executives alike—and throughout the investment community give portfolio companies meaningful access and strategic perspective. Sandy serves as chair or non-executive board member on both public and private boards. He holds an MS in Human Physiology from the University of California, Davis and a BA in Biology from the University of California, San Diego.
